Hi! I’m the new Deputy Director at Kite Oxford, and this involves multiple things but most eminently, it involves developing Kite’s organisational capacity. This means that I have to work with my counterpart in Kite Nairobi to develop necessary policies to ensure that our programs run smoothly and by a certain standard. I was inspired to work with Kite since its model provides the opportunity to tap into the potential of students and maximise their impact, through piloting projects and then handing them over to partners with proof of concept.
